Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: September 29, 2026

SeatbeltsAreForEveryone.org is an independent site. This page explains how it may earn money and how that affects what we publish.

Current status

As of the date above, articles on this site do not contain affiliate links or paid placements. We have removed the product links that appeared on some earlier pages.

If we add affiliate links

We may add affiliate links in the future, for example to car seats, boosters, or phone mounts that are directly relevant to an article. If we do:

  • Any page with affiliate links will say so clearly near the top of the page, before the first link.
  • Affiliate links will be marked with rel="sponsored", as Google recommends.
  • If we join the Amazon Associates program, this statement applies: As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
  • Buying through an affiliate link does not cost you more. The retailer may pay us a small commission.

What does not change

  • No company pays to be included in an article or to change what we say about safety or the law.
  • Product mentions never replace safety guidance. For car seats and boosters, the manufacturer’s manual and your state’s child passenger law come first.
  • Legal and safety information is based on public sources such as NHTSA, IIHS, GHSA, and state statutes, not on commercial relationships.

See our editorial standards for how articles are researched and reviewed. Questions: [email protected].
